WeThinkCloud exists to help aspiring candidates move from tutorial-hell to job-ready delivery. We combine free architectural resources with rigorous, hands-on practice.
Born out of
necessity.
The cloud industry in South Africa is booming, yet junior and aspiring engineers are constantly told they lack the "hands-on production experience" required to get hired.
We saw thousands of brilliant individuals getting stuck doing multiple-choice certifications, only to freeze when asked to architect a VPC or debug a Terraform state file in a live interview.
We built WeThinkCloud as the bridge. A completely free, open-source-driven curriculum simulating real corporate ticketing, production incidents, and architectural design constraints.

How we operate
1. Open Access
Every tutorial, lab manual, and architecture diagram on this platform is completely free. We don't hide core engineering behind paywalls.
2. Practical Muscle
We prioritize command-line fluency over console clicking. Our labs focus on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD workflows, and container orchestration.
3. Direct Mentorship
During live cohorts, engineers receive direct code reviews and architecture critiques from Senior Cloud Architects working locally.

WeThinkCloud was started by engineers who went through the struggle of breaking into cloud without guidance, without mentors, and without affordable resources. We built the community we wish had existed.
Today we train engineers across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps through free learning resources and cohort 1 now open for applications and starting June 1. Then we connect strong candidates with companies that are actively hiring cloud talent.
